Cookie policy
Last updated September 2026 · Sprouting Accounting, 124–128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX
This policy explains what cookies are, which ones this website uses, and how to control them. It sits alongside our privacy policy, which covers personal information more broadly.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They let a site remember things between pages and visits — that you are logged in, which options you chose, or how you arrived. Similar technologies such as pixels, tags and local storage do comparable jobs, and this policy covers those too.
2. When we need your consent
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, we may set cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work without asking you. Everything else — analytics, advertising, embedded content — requires your consent before it is set. That is what the banner on your first visit is for, and you can change your answer at any time.
3. The cookies this website uses
Strictly necessary
These keep the site working and secure. They cannot be switched off.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
| XSRF-TOKEN | Wix | Security — protects forms against cross-site request forgery | Session |
| hs / svSession | Wix | Keeps your session and identifies returning visitors to the site's own systems | Session – 2 years |
| consent-v2 | Wix | Remembers your cookie choices so we don't ask again | 12 months |
Analytics
These tell us how many people visit, which pages they read and where they came from. They only run if you accept them.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes one visitor from another | 2 years |
| _ga_<id> | Google Analytics | Keeps the session state for reporting | 2 years |
| _gid | Google Analytics | Distinguishes visitors within a day | 24 hours |
Functional and embedded content
Some pages embed content from other services — a Google Maps location, a social media feed, a video. Those services may set their own cookies when the content loads. We only load them once you have accepted.
| Source | When it appears | Their policy |
|---|---|---|
| Maps and reviews | policies.google.com | |
| Meta | Instagram and Facebook content | facebook.com |
| Profile and post embeds | linkedin.com |
4. Managing your choices
You can change or withdraw your consent whenever you like using the cookie settings link in the footer of this site. Withdrawing consent stops new non-essential cookies being set; it does not delete ones already on your device.
You can also control cookies in your browser — blocking them, deleting them, or being warned before one is set:
Blocking all cookies will stop parts of this site working properly, including forms.
5. What this means for your data
Analytics cookies collect information about how the site is used. Where that information is personal data, we handle it as described in our privacy policy, and our lawful basis is your consent.
6. Changes to this policy
We review this policy whenever we add or remove a tool that sets cookies. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
